Isaac de la Fuente

As of April 2011 I am a Court Appointed Special Advocate with Voices for Children. We serve as Advocates for the San Diego County foster youth throughout their lives as well as in the legal system. I would have posted pictures but our work is strictly confidential as we are working with minors and the legal system (the picture on the main volunteer page is not related). Voices for Children is an amazing program that goes beyond big-brother and big-sister programs by empowering the C.A.S.A.s with legal rights to help inform the decision makers in the life of the foster child. If you're looking for a great place to donate, you've found it.

Check out their volunteer page here or donate here.

Voices for Children

Voices for ChildrenVoices for Children transforms the lives of abused children in San Diego County by providing them with volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs). They believe that every child deserves a safe and permanent home, and to that end, will review and monitor every court file in the system, provide a CASA to every child in the foster care system who needs one, and advocate to improve the lives of San Diego County’s foster children.
